We invite visitors to explore and experience Hardy County.

Visit Hardy exists to market Hardy County as a tourism destination, support the exiting tourism industry, and work with community partners to develop new tourism assets. In addition to our primary advertising campaign, we work with our industry partners by providing grant funds that will leverage their advertising dollars and expand the tourism industry as a whole. The two grant programs include the Tourism Advertising Program and the Barn Quilt Matching Grants.

Visit Hardy’s Tourism Advertising Program (TAP) offers two grant opportunities to Hardy County tourism-related organizations and businesses: The Event Advertising Grant, and the Print Literature Grant. Please read the guidelines and logo usage requirements, and individual applications to understand the eligibility criteria and the differences between each grant.

Qualified TAP Grant applicants may apply for up to $500 for advertising events or up to $250 for print literature. There are limitations as to how often you may apply. All grants are reimbursement grants and require a cash match.

The Barn Quilt Matching Grant was developed to support the Hardy County Barn Quilt Trail. Up to 50% (maximum of  $250) of the cost of a barn quilt created by HCBQT/LREF. The County-wide barn quilt trail is managed by the Lost River Educational Foundation. There are a limited number of grants awarded each year.
