Lost River Education Foundation welcomes everyone interested in the history, process and provenance of quilts to join us at the Fiber and Arts Fest to meet and talk with noted quilt historian and author, Fawn Valentine. In addition to reviewing quilts from the Tim Wheeler collection, she will discuss how to evaluate quilts of unknown provenance. Bring your old quilts and learn to read the clues found in your quilt’s age and stitching. There will be food for sale and artisans doing demonstrations all day at the Fiber and Arts Fest. Ms. Valentine will autograph her books which will be available for sale at Lost River Artisans Cooperative (open all day during the festival).
