Description

The 75th WV Poultry Convention & Festival is a week long celebration of our agricultural heritage including Food, Pageants, Tournaments, Entertainment, Lunch Train Ride and Parade.
Enjoy the community events planned for people of all ages and educational sessions for WV poultry producers.

6:00 pm Paint in the Park Brighton Park, Pavilion #3, Moorefield, WV
$30 includes all materials and finger foods. Limited number of seats are available.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 18, 2018
Local home and business window/yard decorating contest
Decorate with a poultry theme. Judging will be conducted on Wednesday morning.
Call the WVPA (304)530-2725 by July 14 to have your home or business entered in the contest.

Tee Time 7:45 a.m. Limit to 25 teams of 4 players

Teams will be on a first registered and time preference basis. The fee will be $65 per player or $260 per team. The cost will cover green fees, carts for 18 holes and lunch.

10:00 a.m. Muzzleloader Turkey Shoot – Hardy County Rod & Gun Club
11:00 a.m. Chicken Train – Enjoy a scenic ride from Moorefield to Petersburg. Lunch will be provided in Petersburg by the Dorcas Ruritan Club. A variety of children’s activities will be provided during the ride. Tickets must be purchased prior to the event through Eventbrite at www.eventbrite.com.
